LIGUE INC ("Ligue," "we," "us," or "our") is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards across our website, web dashboard, and mobile apps (collectively, the "Service").
We believe that sports should be open to everyone, and that includes the technology that helps run them. This statement describes our accessibility efforts, the standards we work toward, known limitations, and how to reach us if you encounter a barrier or need an accommodation.
1. Our Commitment
Accessibility is an ongoing effort at Ligue, not a one-time project. We aim to make our digital experiences perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust for the widest possible audience, including people who use assistive technologies such as screen readers, screen magnifiers, speech-recognition software, and keyboard-only navigation. We consider accessibility throughout our design and development process and treat reported barriers as issues to be prioritized and resolved.
2. Conformance Standards
We are working to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities. We also design with the principles of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) in mind.
Conformance status: Our public marketing website is partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 Level AA. "Partially conformant" means that some parts of the content may not yet fully meet the accessibility standard while we continue our remediation work. We are actively addressing the known limitations listed below.
3. Measures We Take
To support accessibility, Ligue takes the following measures:
- Include accessibility as a requirement when designing and building new features;
- Use semantic HTML and ARIA roles so assistive technologies can interpret content correctly;
- Provide a visible "skip to main content" link and clearly visible keyboard focus indicators;
- Support full keyboard operation of interactive elements such as menus and dialogs, including focus management and an Escape-to-close pattern;
- Respect the operating-system "reduce motion" preference to minimize non-essential animation;
- Aim for sufficient color contrast between text and its background; and
- Review reported barriers and incorporate accessibility fixes into our ongoing releases.
4. Accessibility Features
Features currently available across our website include:
- Keyboard navigation: Primary navigation, links, buttons, forms, and modal dialogs can be reached and operated with a keyboard.
- Skip link: A "Skip to main content" link appears on keyboard focus so users can bypass repeated navigation.
- Visible focus: Interactive elements show a clear focus outline when navigating by keyboard.
- Descriptive text alternatives: Meaningful images include alternative text, and decorative images are hidden from assistive technologies.
- Reduced motion: Animations are minimized when your device requests reduced motion.
- Responsive, resizable layout: Content reflows on smaller screens and remains usable when text is zoomed.
5. Compatibility With Browsers and Assistive Technology
The Service is designed to be compatible with recent versions of major browsers (such as Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge) on current operating systems, used together with common assistive technologies. Accessibility may be reduced when using outdated browsers or unsupported technology. If you experience difficulty with a particular browser or assistive-technology combination, please let us know so we can investigate.
6. Known Limitations
Despite our efforts, some limitations may remain. We are aware of, and working to address, the following:
- Third-party content: Some embedded content and tools we rely on (for example, the demo-booking widget, payment flows provided by our processor, and video content) are provided by third parties, and their accessibility is partly outside our direct control.
- Legacy media: Older images or videos may lack complete text alternatives or captions; we are reviewing and updating these over time.
- Ongoing remediation: As we add new features, some may temporarily fall short of our target standard until they are reviewed and refined.
If you encounter a barrier that is not listed here, please contact us using the details below.
7. How We Assess Accessibility
Ligue evaluates the accessibility of the Service through a combination of methods, including automated testing tools, manual keyboard and screen-reader checks, and review against the WCAG 2.2 criteria. Accessibility testing is an ongoing part of our development process, and feedback from users is an important input into our reviews.
8. Requesting Accommodations
If you need information from the Service in an alternative format, or if you need assistance completing a task such as registration or payment, we want to help. Contact us using the details below and we will work with you to provide the information or complete the task through an accessible alternative. We aim to respond to accommodation requests promptly.
9. Feedback and Contact
We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of Ligue. If you encounter accessibility barriers, or have suggestions for how we can improve, please let us know. Please include the web address (URL) of the page, a description of the problem, and the browser and assistive technology you were using, if applicable. This helps us reproduce and resolve the issue faster.
