An academy is a subscription business that happens to run training sessions. The dues have to come in every month whether or not anybody chases them, the timetable has to survive a term, attendance has to mean something, and a parent paying year-round expects to see their child progressing. Ligue holds the billing, the schedule, the attendance and the progress record in one place.
Recurring monthly dues are the whole business model, so they run on a schedule rather than being invoiced by hand. Collect by card, ACH or Apple Pay, add one-off charges for kit or a showcase as invoices, and see at a glance which memberships are current and which lapsed this month.
Build a weekly timetable across your pitches, courts or mats and enrol athletes into the sessions they actually attend. A term rolls into the next without the timetable being rebuilt, and a squad list is current on every screen that shows it.
Take attendance per session and it stops being a register and starts being a progress record. You can see who has been at training this month, who has quietly stopped coming, and what a coach is basing a selection or a promotion on — which is exactly what a paying parent asks about.
Run more than one site and more than one season without running more than one system. Each location keeps its own programmes, timetable and staff, seasons stack rather than overwrite, and you still get one number when you need the whole organization.
Retention is the only number that matters in a subscription business, and it is made of small things.
Every month a parent has to be chased is a month they think about stopping. A schedule that runs on its own removes the conversation entirely.
Someone missing three sessions in a row is a retention problem four weeks before it is a cancelled membership. Attendance history makes it visible while you can still do something.
Year-round fees need year-round evidence. Sessions attended and assessments recorded give a coach something concrete to show at the end of a term.
The academy that adds a second location needs to know whether it worked — which is a comparison between sites and seasons, not a total.
Yes. Memberships run on a schedule by card, ACH or Apple Pay, and you can see which are current and which lapsed this month rather than chasing each one individually.
Yes. Kit, a showcase weekend, a piece of equipment or a late fee go out as invoices alongside the recurring dues, and land on the same family payment history.
Sessions are scheduled across your venues and athletes are enrolled into the ones they attend, so a term can roll into the next without the timetable being rebuilt each time.
Because it is the progress record and the retention signal at once. An athlete missing several sessions in a row is visible while you can still act, and a parent asking about progress gets an answer rather than an impression.
Yes. Each site keeps its own programmes, timetable and staff, and the organization sees across all of them without asking three administrators for three exports.
Yes. One family account can carry several athletes in different programmes and on different nights, with their payment history kept together.
