Most platforms in this category will not tell you what they cost until you have spoken to someone. We publish ours, so the least we can do is show you how it sits against the alternatives — using nothing but what each company states on its own pricing page.

Pricing, side by side

Every cell below is what the vendor says publicly. Where a pricing page does not state something, it says so rather than guessing.

What the comparison actually shows

Three things stand out, and only one of them is about being cheap.

Most of this market will not quote you publicly

LeagueApps and TeamSnap both route clubs and leagues to a sales conversation rather than a number, and TeamLinkt publishes its add-on prices but not the transaction rate that most organizations will actually pay. That is normal in B2B software, but it makes genuine comparison difficult and it is the reason pages like this one exist.

Transaction-based pricing moves with your success

When a platform takes a share of every payment, the bill grows with your registration revenue. A good season costs you more. A flat fee does the opposite — the cost of the software is the same in the year you grow from 300 players to 600, which makes budgeting a fixed line rather than a forecast.

Percentage vs flatPredictable

Ligue is not the cheapest line item, and does not claim to be

Jersey Watch at $348 a year and TeamLinkt’s free core are both a smaller subscription than $100 per sport per month. What you get for the difference is the whole platform in one price — live scoring, stats, standings, brackets, store and background checks included rather than tiered — and a bill that does not move when your organization grows.

A note on GameChanger

GameChanger is missing from the table above on purpose. It does not charge organizations at all — coaches and staff get it free — so putting a price in the same column as a per-sport or per-transaction fee would compare two different things and mislead you.

It bills your families instead of you

Scoring, livestreaming, scheduling and messaging are free to the team. Box scores and play-by-play sit behind Plus at $9.99 a month or $39.99 a year, and season and player stats behind Premium at $14.99 a month or $99.99 a year — charged per fan account, to the parents following their own child. That is a real cost to your community even though it never reaches your budget.

And it is a team app, not an organization platform

Its pricing page describes scoring, streaming and fan-facing stats. Registration, fee collection, invoicing, financial reporting, divisions and seasons and background checks are not part of what it lists, which is why most organizations that use GameChanger run their actual operations somewhere else.

The ones that publish nothing at all

Three more platforms organizations regularly shortlist. None of them has a pricing page, so they are not in the table above — there is nothing to put in the cells.

PlayMetrics — soccer only

A capable soccer product with coaching curriculum, session plans and a drills library that Ligue does not have. Every page on their public site is soccer-specific, so a multi-sport club will need something else alongside it. Pricing is quoted after a conversation.

GotSport — sanctioned soccer and associations

Referee assigning, suspensions, digital player cards and large event management, sold largely through state association partnerships. If your association already runs on it, that usually decides the sanctioned side for you. No pricing page.

Stack Sports — governing-body scale

A portfolio assembled through acquisition, sold to national governing bodies and large associations through enterprise partnerships. Their homepage is one line and a contact button. Serious at that altitude; a long way from a club evaluating options on a Tuesday evening.

Which one fits your organization

There is no single right answer here, and the honest version is that it depends on what you are actually running.

Ligue makes sense when

  • You want to know what it costs before you talk to anyone
  • You run more than a schedule — live scoring, stats, standings and brackets matter to you
  • Your registration revenue is large enough that a percentage starts to hurt
  • You would rather not discover that the feature you need is a paid tier
  • You run several sports and want them in one organization

Something else may fit better when

  • A website builder is the main thing you need — Jersey Watch is built around that and costs less
  • You collect very little online, where a percentage of almost nothing beats a fixed fee
  • You want to start at zero subscription and add tools later — TeamLinkt’s free core does that
  • You are a single team rather than an organization — TeamSnap and GameChanger are built for that
  • You need a specific integration one of them already has

Comparing platforms: common questions

Why do so few of these companies publish a price? +

Because pricing is usually tailored to the size of the organization, and because a sales conversation converts better than a number on a page. It is a normal way to sell software, but it does mean you cannot compare options without contacting several vendors.

Is a percentage of transactions cheaper than a flat fee? +

It depends entirely on how much you collect. At low registration volumes a percentage is usually cheaper. As your revenue grows the percentage grows with it, while a flat fee does not — so there is a crossover point, and where it sits depends on the rate you are quoted.

Can I pass payment processing on to families? +

With Ligue, yes — your organization chooses whether to absorb the processing cost or add it at checkout. TeamLinkt and Jersey Watch both state on their pricing pages that they allow this too.

Is Ligue the cheapest option here? +

No. Jersey Watch’s $348 a year and TeamLinkt’s free core are lower subscription costs. Ligue is priced on being the whole platform in one number with nothing held back in a tier, and on not charging more as your organization grows.

How current is this comparison? +

Every figure was taken from the vendor’s own pricing page and verified on 28 September 2026. Software pricing changes without notice, so check their current pages before making a decision.

Is Ligue affiliated with any of these companies? +

No. The names on this page are the trademarks of their respective owners and are used only to identify the products being compared. There is no affiliation, endorsement or partnership.
