Where the money actually goes

The subscription is the smaller half of this comparison. The processing rate is the larger one.

3.5% + $1 adds up on registration income

On a $150 registration that is $6.25. Across 400 registrations it is $2,500 — considerably more than either platform’s subscription. Jersey Watch lets you pass that to families, as does Ligue, but it is the number worth modelling before you compare $348 against $1,200.

Jersey Watch is website-first

Its strongest offer is a professional site with custom design, content migration and a domain, set up for you at a low annual price. If what your organization most needs is a public website with registration attached, that is a well-priced way to get one, and Ligue does not compete with it on that ground.

Website builderMigration included

Ligue is operations-first

The difference in the base price buys game-day and season operations: live scoring, box scores, per-athlete stats and histories, tournament brackets, attendance, QR check-in, a team store and multi-sport reporting. If none of that is on your list, Ligue is the more expensive answer to a question you did not ask.

Which one fits your organization

These are different products at different prices, and the comparison is more about need than about value.

Ligue makes sense when

  • Game day matters — live scores, box scores, stats and standings
  • You run tournaments and need brackets that advance themselves
  • You run more than one sport and want reporting across them
  • You would rather not pay 3.5% + $1 on every registration
  • Attendance, QR check-in and a team store are things you will use

Jersey Watch may fit better when

  • A public website is the main thing you are buying
  • Your budget is the deciding factor — $348 a year is materially less
  • You take few online payments, so the processing rate rarely applies
  • You want your old site migrated for you at no extra cost
  • Registration and a schedule are the whole of what you need
