GameChanger is free for coaches, and genuinely good at what it does — scoring and livestreaming a team’s games at no cost to the organization. The bill lands on parents instead: box scores and play-by-play sit behind a $9.99-a-month subscription, and season stats behind a $14.99-a-month one, per account. Ligue charges your organization $100 per sport and gives every family all of it for free.
Taken from the GameChanger pricing page as it stood on 28 September 2026. Their tiers are per fan account, not per organization, so the two do not line up neatly — which is itself the point.

Every figure above is taken from each company’s own public pricing page and was verified on 28 September 2026. Vendors change pricing without notice — check the GameChanger pricing page before you decide. Ligue is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or partnered with any company named on this page.
This is the least like-for-like comparison on the site, and pretending otherwise would not help you decide.
A coach scores the game and livestreams it for nothing, and the family who wants to watch back, read the box score or follow season stats pays a subscription. It is a consumer product sold to parents, backed by DICK’S Sporting Goods, and for baseball and softball in particular the depth is real — 150+ tracked stats and batting spray charts.
Registration, collecting fees, payment plans, invoices, financial reporting, divisions and seasons, rosters and eligibility, documents, background checks and staff permissions — none of which GameChanger’s pricing page describes. Scoring and stats are part of that platform rather than the product being sold.
“Free” here means free to you, not free. If 200 families in your club each take Plus Annual so they can see their own child’s box score, that is roughly $8,000 a year leaving your community — against $1,200 a year for a Ligue sport where the same box scores, play-by-play and season stats cost families nothing. Whether that matters depends on whether you think of your parents’ money as your budget.
Plenty of organizations use both, and that is a perfectly reasonable answer.
For coaches and staff, yes — their pricing page states staff get free access automatically, including scoring, livestreaming, scheduling and messaging. Fans and parents pay to unlock box scores and play-by-play on Plus ($9.99 a month or $39.99 a year) and season stats on Premium ($14.99 a month or $99.99 a year).
Per their pricing page, Plus unlocks watching live games, play-by-plays, box scores, game summaries and the audio announcer. Premium adds season and player stats, batting spray charts, post-game insights and highlight clips. A Family plan covers four accounts at $24.99 a month or $179.99 a year.
No. Your organization’s $100 per sport per month covers everyone — families see schedules, rosters, live scores, box scores, stats and standings in the app at no charge. The only money a family pays is what your organization charges them for registration.
Their pricing page does not describe registration, fee collection, invoicing or financial reporting — it covers scoring, streaming and fan-facing stats. Most organizations using GameChanger run registration and payments in something else.
No, and they say so. Baseball and softball get the most — 150+ tracked stats and batting spray charts. Basketball gets 50+ stats. Other sports have a reduced feature set. Ligue scores 18+ sports, each with the stat line that sport actually keeps.
Yes, and some organizations do. The overlap is wider than it looks though — scoring, livestreaming, watching live games, box scores and stats are all in Ligue already, and free for every family, so the case for running both is usually about GameChanger’s fan extras rather than about filling a gap.
Their pricing page states a staff member can make a one-time purchase that unlocks paid features for everyone connected to that specific team. The price is not published on the pricing page, and it applies only to the team it was bought for.
