TeamLinkt vs Ligue

TeamLinkt gives away a free core and makes its money on a per-transaction rate, with deeper tools sold as annual add-ons. Ligue charges $100 per sport per month and includes everything. Below is what each company states publicly, including the parts where TeamLinkt is the cheaper subscription.

Reading the two models honestly

TeamLinkt’s subscription is lower. That is the plain fact, and the interesting question is what sits either side of it.

What TeamLinkt does well

A genuinely free core covering registration, payments, scheduling, rosters, a website builder and live scoring is a strong offer, particularly for a club that is starting out or collecting very little online. Their rate is stated to fall as volume grows, and they let you pass the fee to registrants.

Where the add-on tiers bite

Tournament and bracket management, officials assigning and the online store are not in the free core — they sit in $425-a-year add-ons, or $795 for both. If your organization runs tournaments or sells kit, the real comparison is $795 a year plus an unpublished transaction rate against $1,200 a year per sport with nothing held back.

The transaction rate is the missing number

Neither the free core nor the add-on prices tell you what you will actually pay, because the per-transaction rate is quoted rather than published. Ask for it, apply it to a year of your registration income, and add the add-ons you would need. That is the number to set against $1,200 per sport.

Which one fits your organization

Both are credible organization platforms. The split is mostly about volume and about which features you actually need.

Ligue makes sense when

  • You run tournaments, sell merch, or need officials assigning — all included rather than tiered
  • Your registration revenue makes a per-transaction rate material
  • You want the full cost knowable from a public page
  • You run several sports and want one organization across them
  • Stats, box scores and season histories per athlete matter to you

TeamLinkt may fit better when

  • You are starting out and a $0 subscription is the deciding factor
  • You need a built-in website builder, which Ligue does not offer
  • Fundraising and sponsorship matching are things you actually run
  • You collect little online, so a percentage of it stays small
  • The core feature set covers you and you will never need the add-ons

TeamLinkt vs Ligue: common questions

Is TeamLinkt really free? +

Their core is stated as $0 forever and covers registration, payments, scheduling, rosters, a website builder and live scoring. Revenue comes from a per-transaction rate on payments you collect, and deeper tools are annual add-ons at $425 or $795 a year.

What is in TeamLinkt’s paid add-ons? +

Their pricing page lists tournament and bracket management, officials and scorekeeper assigning and advanced scheduling automations under Operations, and fundraising, sponsorship and the online store under Revenue — $425 a year each, or $795 for the Full Platform.

Which one costs less? +

On subscription alone, TeamLinkt. Whether it costs less overall depends on the transaction rate you are quoted and whether you need the add-ons. Ligue is $1,200 per sport per year with everything included and no share of your revenue.

Does Ligue have a website builder? +

No. If a public website for your organization is a core requirement, TeamLinkt includes one in its free core and Ligue does not. Ligue gives you a public landing page for programs and registration rather than a full site builder.

Can both pass processing fees to families? +

Yes. TeamLinkt states you can pass the fee to registrants per form, and Ligue lets your organization absorb the processing cost or add it at checkout.

Is Ligue affiliated with TeamLinkt? +

No. TeamLinkt is a trademark of its owner and is named here only to identify the product being compared. There is no affiliation, endorsement or partnership.
