The honest answer is that most of this industry will not tell you until you have spoken to a salesperson. Here is what the eight platforms youth sports organizations shortlist most often actually publish, checked on 28 September 2026, and how to work out which model costs you less.
The short version
Of the eight platforms below, three publish a price. The rest ask you to book a call. That is normal in business software, but it makes genuine comparison hard — and it is why so many organizations end up choosing on a demo rather than on cost.
| Platform | What they publish | Model |
|---|---|---|
| Ligue | $100 per sport, per month | Flat subscription |
| Jersey Watch | $348 / year ($29/mo) | Flat subscription |
| TeamLinkt | Core $0; add-ons $425–$795 / yr | Free core + transaction rate |
| LeagueApps | Nothing — quote only | % of each transaction + setup fee |
| TeamSnap | Nothing for clubs & leagues | Custom |
| PlayMetrics | Nothing — quote only | Custom |
| GotSport | Nothing — no pricing page | Not stated |
| Stack Sports | Nothing — no pricing page | Not stated |
Every figure there comes from the vendor’s own public pricing page. Where a cell says nothing, it means the page does not exist or states that pricing depends on a conversation. Pricing changes without notice, so check before you decide.
You pay a fixed amount per month or year regardless of how many athletes register or how much money you collect. Budgeting is trivial: it is a line item that does not move. The downside is that you pay it in a quiet year as well as a busy one.
The platform takes a share of every online payment. It is genuinely attractive at low volume — if you collect very little, you pay very little. The problem is that the cost grows with your success, and it grows without anyone deciding to increase it.
A club collecting $150,000 in registrations at a 3% rate pays $4,500 a year. The same club on a $1,200 flat fee pays $1,200. The crossover is lower than most organizations expect.
The base product costs nothing and the platform earns from transactions, with deeper features sold annually. Read the add-on list carefully: TeamLinkt, for example, publishes tournament and bracket management, officials assigning and the online store as $425-a-year add-ons, or $795 for both. If you run tournaments or sell kit, those are not optional extras — they are the product.
Payment processing is charged on every registration and it is usually larger than the software. Jersey Watch publishes 3.5% + $1 per transaction. On a $150 registration that is $6.25; across 400 registrations it is $2,500 — considerably more than any subscription on this page.
Most platforms let you pass that to families at checkout. Whether you should is a separate question, and it changes your effective cost more than the choice of vendor does.
Take a year of your registration income. Multiply by the percentage rate you have been quoted. Compare that against the flat fees above. If the percentage figure is larger, a subscription is cheaper — and the gap widens every year you grow.
Ligue is $100 per sport, per month. Unlimited players, teams and seasons, every feature included, no setup fee, and no share of your registration revenue. A club running soccer and basketball pays $200 a month. We publish it because we would rather you compared us properly than took a call to find out.
Because pricing is usually tailored to the size of the organization, and because a sales conversation converts better than a number on a page. It is a normal way to sell software, but it means you cannot compare options without contacting several vendors.
At low volume, usually yes. As your registration revenue grows the percentage grows with it while a flat fee does not, so there is a crossover point. Where it sits depends entirely on the rate you are quoted.
Card processing is commonly around 2.9% plus a fixed amount per transaction, though rates vary by provider and ACH is usually cheaper. Jersey Watch publishes 3.5% + $1. Check a recent statement rather than assuming.
Many organizations do, and most platforms allow it. It keeps your registration fee working entirely for the season rather than partly covering card costs. The trade-off is that your advertised price is not the final price.
$100 per sport, per month, with unlimited players, teams and seasons and every feature included. Enterprise pricing is available for larger multi-site organizations.
