Account creation & provisioning
- Accounts are created automatically on first successful sign-in.
- There is no separate sign-up or password step.
- Profile setup begins immediately after authentication.
- A user may belong to multiple Organizations.
Organization-scoped access
Authentication grants identity, not permissions. After sign-in:
- The system identifies the user's associated Organizations.
- A single Organization means the user auto-enters it.
- Multiple Organizations means the user sees an Organization selection screen.
Role-based access control (RBAC)
Authentication and authorization are separate concerns. Roles determine what users can see and do, and roles are assigned per Organization — the same user can hold different roles in different Organizations. RBAC applies to UI visibility, API access, and sensitive actions such as payments, publishing, and deletion.
